Laboratory Microscopes

The microscope is a piece of equipment that has been evolving day by day thanks to advances in its optical, electronic and mechanical components. Knowledge of the fundamental structure of a microscope and its component parts, as well as their function, will help the user in his interaction with the microscopic equipment to make the appropriate decisions about its necessary care.

There are two basic types of targets: dry targets and immersion targets. The distinction between these two types of objectives lies in the medium between the sample and the objective. Dry targets do not use any medium between the sample and the target other than air. While immersion lenses use immersion liquid, conventionally oil.

Microscopes and their different uses

The microscope is a piece of equipment through which we can observe elements or structures that cannot be seen with the naked eye, through the use of lenses, viewfinders and light rays, which zoom in or enlarge the image at convenient scales for examination and subsequent analysis.

Microscopes can be used in different areas, such as:

Clinical laboratories
Research Laboratories
Hospitals
Pharmaceutical industry

Our Best Selling Microscope:

  • It provides high quality and contrast images with a special objective without tension.
Single polarization, orthogonal polarization and conoscopic observation.
Transmitted light and reflected light, 24V / 100W long life halogen lamp.
Stage with 45° located, connectable mechanical stage with large range of motion, high efficiency without interference
    when converting targets.

Special care for your microscope

Among the most important routines to maintain a microscope in proper operating conditions are the following:

Check the adjustment of the mechanical platform. It must move smoothly, in all directions (X-Y) and must maintain the position selected or defined by the microscopist.

Check focus mechanism adjustment. The approach that the microscopist selects must be maintained. The height assigned by the microscopist should not vary.

Check the operation of the diaphragm. Clean all mechanical components. Lubricate the microscope according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Confirm the setting of the lamella nail.

Types of Microscopes:

Phase contrast microscope

This microscope is used to observe cells without staining, so it is very useful for living cells, since, as we well know, fixing and staining them implies their death, which can also damage or change the structure.

Green Microscope

The green microscope achieves a wide field of view for faster sample observation content. The eyepiece adopts a flat field distortion-free design

Stereoscopic microscope

This microscope allows three-dimensional vision of objects, and to achieve this it uses two eyepieces (those that are close to the eye) and two objectives (those that are close to the sample).

Metallurgical microscope

Infinitive optical system that provides excellent optical functions. With the stable supporting structure, advanced stage design and comfortable operation

Trinocular microscope

With infinity optical system, Kohler illumination that provides excellent optical quality and makes the image perfect. With forward and low position coaxial focusing system

Polarized light microscope

This microscope is also known as a petrographic microscope. This microscope is actually a type of optical microscope to which two polarizers have been added.

What is an ecological microscope?

The microscope is an instrument that increases the size of an image and allows you to see more details than would be possible to perceive with the naked eye. There is a wide variety of microscopes, among which the ecological microscope is relevant.

Microscopes and Technical Service

We will epistemologically define the word microscope; Micro which means small and scope which means to observe; this is a reference to the usefulness of this device, which is a device that allows us to observe elements that are invisible to the naked eye, through a lens, viewfinders and light rays; This instrument includes a set of elements that allow us to enlarge or zoom in on the sample at scales where we can minimally observe components to perform an analysis and examine the sample.
